What counts as a reference

One reference means one person contacted on behalf of one candidate. A candidate naming four references uses four of the monthly allowance. Chasing a reference who has not replied costs nothing extra, and a reference who declines to take part does not count against the allowance.

How engagements are billed

The retainer is invoiced monthly in advance and either side may end it with thirty days notice. Executive engagements are quoted individually and follow the convention used in retained search: a fee at the outset, the balance on delivery of findings.

We do not sell per-check credits and we do not price by seat. The retainer covers the work rather than the number of logins.

What is not included

We collect and document professional references. We do not conduct criminal record searches, credit checks, drug screening or identity verification, and we take no position on any hiring decision. Where an engagement needs those, we will say so and you can appoint a screening provider alongside us.
